Bank Negara Reserves Rise

Bank Negara’s international reserve rose to RM320.7bil (US$87.8bil) on March 31 from RM314bil (US$90.6bil) as at March 13.

In a statement, the central bank said the reserves position was sufficient to finance 7.9 months of retained imports and was four times the short–term external debt. Its total assets as at March 31 stood at RM350.216bil.
